Loos are one of the smallest rooms in the home and they’re also one the most costly to renovate. This huge rest room supplied the perfect quantity of area for a washer and dryer. As the one lavatory in your entire house, this boring house undoubtedly needed an upgrade. Here, a strip of blue herringbone mosaic tile makes its approach along the toilet wall and into the bathtub encompass for a fresh look.
For the flooring i partnered with Clé tiles and chose their gorgeous hex cement tiles in charcoal with a light grey grout and so they look so lovely with Kohler’s insanely luxurious sunstruck freestanding tub this can be the biggest tub i’ve ever had and i chose the most important image window i may find to put proper above it. it feels a bit like i am bathing outdoors, and because the lot next to my home is empty and filled with bushes it is utterly personal (save for the squirrels and bluejays) so bubble baths take on the feeling of a spa retreat, particularly with the reclaimed wooden caddy i added for candles (and naturally, a glass of wine).
Grey penny tiles that move beautifully from the shower into the remainder of the stunning bathroom hold the room from wanting blocked off, making the area feel much more open. Maybe it’s a colour scheme, a tile design, or a brilliant trendy bathtub fixture you saw on the Jones’ house (so jealous!).
An excellent alternative to the vertical-striped wallpaper is gorgeous mosaic tilework laid vertically on your entire lavatory wall. Whereas tearing down a wall so as to add a shower, the owners decided to replace the tile with a white model that displays light in the room, making the house seem greater.
